Hi, my name is Anson. I was born on August 15th 1997. I am currently eleven years old. I was born in Sacramento, California. My family is very fun to be with. They make great jokes that make me laugh really hard. I also like to play video games. They are amazing to watch and play. In the future, I am going to Sutter Middle School. I plan to go to West Campus High School after middle school.

    My family is very large to me. I live with my mother, father, grandpa, grandma, and my two sisters. My family (everyone) speaks Mien in the house. My cultures are the Mien and the Hmong people. My dad is Mien and my mom is Hmong. My mom learned how to speak Mien when she was dating my dad. Most of my adult relatives know how to speak Hmong, but not fluently. I do not know how to speak Hmong at all. When my mom is around her relatives, she speaks Hmong a lot. It also goes for my dad, but he speaks Mien. The Mien and Hmong people have many rituals and ceremonies with shamans that I can not explain.

    I started Earl Warren from preschool, and it was a great experience for me. I met many friends of mine from preschool, and they are still my friends, now. My teachers in preschool were Ms. Janet and Mrs. Michelle. Kindergarten was when I first had homework. My teachers were Mrs. Trimble and Mrs. McCaskill. First grade was very fun for me. My teachers were Mrs. Burke and Ms. King. In second grade, I met many friends that are still with me. My teacher was Mrs. Hintlian. Third grade was the best grade to be in. My teacher was Ms. Mahoney. Grades fourth through sixth were the years I remember the most. Mr. Castro has been my teacher for those years. I am currently in sixth grade right now, and Mr. Castro is still my teacher. Earl Warren Elementary has been the best school for me, and all my friends would think so, too.

    Earl Warren has been an amazing school for me. I am very sad to leave this school. I will come and visit when I have the chance. I will also come on special occasions. All my teachers at this school were very nice to me. I will miss all my friends going to other middle schools next year. Some of my friends are going to the same middle school with me, so I will be a little happy. I have many fond memories of this elementary school. The many awards I have are special, but I can not name them all. I also have four gold medals and one trophy. I am planning to get more awards and one more gold medal. There were many challenges I had to overcome. I am studying more about technology to be prepared for middle school. It was very hard for me to do many things in sixth grade. I remember lots of fun things that I did at this school. All the field trips that I had were very exciting and fun. Future field trips that I will have will be great, too. The contests that Room 14  had will be memorable. The many friends that I have will be memorable.
