My Biography

Hi my name is Mariah. I am 11 years old. I was born on October 9, 1997. My family started out when my grandma was born in Mexico. When she was a little girl she would help her parents raise cows, pigs, sheep, lamb, goats, horses, and chickens. While she lived in Mexico, she meet this guy that she liked and got married. Then they moved to California. She then got  pregnant with my aunt, then my 2 uncles, and then my mom. When my mom got older she meet my dad. She then got pregnant with me. When I got a little older she put me in preschool. We then  got a house for my grandma and a  house for my mom. Then a little while after that my mom put me in kindergarten. When my mom would leave I would always start to cry, so she would try to sneak off. When I saw that she was gone I would start to to cry and my teacher would try to comfort me. Later I got used to it and I wouldn't care  if she left. In to second grade, my teacher was Mrs. Hintlian. We would sometimes play 4 corners when we would have time to. Then I moved to third grade. My teacher was Mrs. Riffel. She taught me how to count money because she would notice that I had  trouble with it. In fourth grade, I met Mr. Castro. When I was in 5th grade Joseph was in preschool. Then when he was 5 he was in kindergarten and I was in 6th grade. That's when my mom met my stepdad. Then she got pregnant with my other little brother Jaiden. My mom said we will move in after I finish 6th grade. That's all I have to tell about my life.

My Hobbies and Interests

My favorite hobbies are to feed my toy poodle puppy named Coco. I really like dogs so that's why we got Coco in the first place. I also like to protect my 2 little brothers Joseph and Jaiden. When my mom is sometimes busy, I feed my little brother Jaiden. I protect my little brother Joseph from dangerous things and teach him the things that he is not supposed to do and dangerous objects that he is not supposed to touch. When my mom or anyone in my family is sick, I like to help them and get the things that they need or want. I used to like to play soccer, but ever since I broke my wrist I started to hate it. I don't want to play again because I don't want to risk breaking my wrist again. I was going to enter a soccer practice, but that was before I broke my wrist.

Teacher's Message

The thing I will remember most about Mariah, is that she is a ball of energy! She would always be cheery and have a smile on her face. Mariah is also a very hard worker and made a great deal of progress since 4th grade. She used to really struggle in math, but now is above grade level. Mariah always wants to help others. She would often help me around the classroom or assist her classmates with their schoolwork. She is a great leader and her positive attitude will help her in the future. My favorite memory of Mariah was our trip to Six Flags. At first she was terrified to go on the roller coasters, but by the end of the trip she was having a blast. Mariah, you have a bright future ahead of you. Be sure to stay positive and don't let others get you down. Good luck!
