autobiography

Hello, my name is Miguel Aguilar. I am recently 12 years old. I was born on Februrary 17, 1997 in Sacramento, California. I have one brother, one sister, and  two great parents. In addition, my grandma comes to visit every six months. I have gone to Earl Warren since preschool, and I have lived in Sacramento since I was born. My parents came from Mexico to Sacramento. They came because they wanted a better life and education for my siblings and I. We first lived in apartments, but slowly got ourselves into a house. Another fact is that I am funny but still very smart. In fact, last year I got perfect on my math portion of the star test. How is your life?

interests

Even though I am still a kid, I have many interests. My number one hobby is playing soccer. In addition, I love to play sports. On the other hand I enjoy playing video games. Recently I have an X box 360, and I enjoy playing on it with my brother. I also like watching movies. I especially like to watch horror movies and comedies. Another fact is that music amuses me, and I love all the genres because each genre has at least one song I like. Making people laugh is also fun for me because it tells me that I am actually funny. Helping people is also enthralling for me because it makes you feel good. It also sometimes make people say good things about you. In addition I love pets and right now I have a dog. The last thing is that I love to spend time with family and friends. With so many interesting things no wonder I have many interests.

Earl Warren Experience

At Earl Warren I have experienced many things. I have been here since preschool, and I love it here. I remember everyone in my past classes and all my past teachers. They were all some people. There were no real challenges for me. My awards I got are gold, silver, silver, and perfect on the STAR test. The day I got perfect on the STAR test is probably the one that I will remember the most. On the other hand, I still remember all  the things here. In fact, I still remember some stuff from when I was in preschool. With Earl Warren being so wonderful no wonder I love it here.

Teacher's message

When I think of Miguel, I immediately think about all of the great laughs he gave the class. Whether it be in the form of a witty answer to a question or one of his fabulous writing assignments being read to the class. I really enjoyed that about him because it helped me remember to have a good time even though we were always so busy with learning. Miguel was also very advanced in all academic areas. He was able to score PERFECT on the 5th grade math STAR test. Unfortunately, there was a problem and we didn't receive his 4th grade scores or else I have a feeling he would have scored perfect on that one too. My favorite memories of Miguel happened on a few occasions. I would be telling the class how important it was for them to study for tests and other things. Miguel would then raise his hand and tell me how he didn't study at all and received another perfect score. That just illustrates how gifted he is. I wanted to thank Miguel for all of his hard work and for keeping me on my toes as a teacher. Best of luck to you in the future!
