Biography
Hi,
my name is Vontae. I grew up in Sacramento, California. When I was a baby I had lots of fun with my parents. When I was five,
they would have me looking nice. We would eat together, watch
movies together and other stuff. And when I was six, I was very funny
I used to run around the house with no shirt on and I used to take
my shoes off and jump on the bed.
Experience
I remember when I was young I used to like to go over my
uncle's house, but when I was younger I used to go everywhere
with my mom even go to work with her I used to protect her from any guy
but now that we have a family I'm more protective of my mom. I
watch every guy that comes up and talks to her. I keep my eye
on them.Projects
Mr. Castro
made us do lots of projects some of them were hard some were easy but
they were fun. I remembered when we did action projects. It made everyone
laugh. We had fun doing all the projects that we wanted to do. It was a fun
year.
Interests
I have a couple
of interesting things, which are to play sports, go to the movies,
drive a car, help my mom around the house and clean, stay in school,
don't get kicked out, just try my best in school. I would not want to
get kicked out of school because I want to get smarter and I want to
stay in shape, so that's why I play sports. I like to take my girlfriend
to the movies to watch a scary movie, so she can lean on me when she
gets scared. I'm interested in football I like to go outside and play
football, but I'm 13 now so I am playing basketball. I want to have a
career in college for basketball.Challenges
There
were lots of challenges I needed to get to my goals. First I needed to
learn how to do my math facts practice. My teacher helped me learn how
to
read better and other stuff like helped me get better on my math. I
have become better than what I used to. I even know how to
correct my running now.
Teacher's Message
Vontae is a student I will never forget. I have seen many positive changes in his school work over the past three years. His reading and math have improved significantly. He is by far the most gifted athlete that I have ever had in my class. In fourth grade, I had a good time having friendly competitions with him. At that time, I was still able to beat him at whatever sport we played. However by the sixth grade, he was beginning to get the upper hand on me and easily dominated the other children at school. Vontae is very well liked by his classmates because he has a great sense of humor. My favorite memories include all of the times we would joke around with one another. He helped make our class an entertaining place to be. Best of luck to you in the future, and don't forget about me when you win the NBA title with the Lakers!!!
